Reclaimed Teachers Pet

At the end of last year I ripped apart a whole heap of Isla's newborn knits with the intention of reclaiming the yarn to knit it into something else (I love this colourway). I finally got around to reskeining it, washing it, drying it and re-balling it and now I have knit it into a Teachers Pet:

I just hope my little pink princess will wear this. It does have a bit of pink in the colourway so here's hoping. This is my entry into the April knit-along but there are some fabulous entries.

Pot Holders Concluded

So I sent off my potholders and I received mine a couple of weeks ago. So thanks to the very talented ladies who made them for me, they are fabulous.

I do love a pretty pinwheel. The one on the left was made by the very talented Bec (who also organised the swap) and the one on the right by Peta. The one on the left is now Islas and the one on the is Neds (apparently).

These two are my favourites. The heart was made by Narelle and the one on the right was again made by Peta.

This was also made by Bec and is another one that Ned has taken for himself. Apparently inside your pillow is a good spot for pot holders... You can read the tutorial Bec has written on how to make this Quilt-as-you-go potholder here.
