So much to do....so little time

in the mad dash to Christmas that is. I have so many things I want to finish between now and then. I still have Islas "Eco-dress" on the needles, I have the cuffs of another Juliette to finish and I'm currently knitting a few toys (some for charity, some for presents etc.).

I have, however, finally had an FO for the first time in months. I reworked a soaker I knit which I hated the waistband and cuffs on because they didn't perfectly match (they were originally green). So I frogged the contrast and re-knit with BWM Luxury in 8ply (Frost). I also decided to add the skirty part rather than hoard the remaining yarn as I have enough in my stash . Anyway here it is:

I've also finished another pair of baby shoes for my newest niece to go with the blanket and an outfit in the last post:

I just need to recover my BF pillow which I'm giving to someone else and then make a hole heap more Xmas presents, toys etc though I have a feeling I may end up needing to just buy a whole heap this year as I have a lot to do and there is less than 10 weeks to go....eeeeek

New Nieces :)

I have 2 new nieces born within a month of each other. So I've been sewing up a few little things to add to their presents:

For Niece born in Sep, some cute little baby shoes with hearts hand appliqu├ęd and super soft chenille on the inner sole for comfort:

I am almost finished a baby block for her too.

For niece born this week in Oct:

I will also be making some little shoes for her too. I love them and feel I may have to make lots and lots of them.

Still knitting Islas dress. I've lost the knitting love atm. I'm sure it will come back soon though. I'm waiting for my overlocker to come back so I can get cracking on some summer clothes for both kids....they desperately need some, particularly miss grubby.

Islas Nappies

I have just finished a couple of nappies with two more almost complete (hopefully this week). Here is my favourite one so far:

Of course it does help that little miss is just adorable :)

Mr 3 has asked for his own wallet for his "money" so I am making him that next. I will post pics of it once I am done.

I am also part way through knitting a new summer dress dress in Eco-yarn (cotton/acrylic) for Isla using a pattern I have had in my head for a while. I am so far liking how it is looking but there are things I would change the next time I knit it. It is a 12 ply yarn I am using but I will re-write the pattern for 8 ply as well since I tend to use more 8 ply and have heaps of it sitting in boxes waiting to be used.....
